Onsite Consultation

We meet on-site to go through what you want to do with your kitchen. We ask lots of questions. This way we can tailor a kitchen design which gives you the best value for your investment.
Is the kitchen for a owner-occupied home or a rental property? A rental property may require standard fittings while an owner-occupied home may need a bigger oven or stone benchtops or more storage space.
What’s your budget? This question helps me get a happy medium between what you want and what you can afford.
Have you chosen colours, style, tiles, electrical appliances etc.? Or do you need help making selections?
Do you have any trades you want to use? Do you have trade friends you would like to use, for example, an electrician or plumber? Or would you prefer I handle the whole process?
We organise a suitable time frame for the renovation to take place.

Draw a basic layout while with you keeping in mind the following factors

Do you require overhead cabinets?
Do you prefer doors or drawers?
Do you want soft closers?
Oven i.e. location?, Re-using existing? Freestanding or cabinet mounted?
Sink type and mixer selection also offering add-ons such as water filters, garbage disposal
Dishwasher type and location
Pantry type and location
Splashback selection i.e. tiled, coloured Perspex, laminate stainless steel etc
In cabinet lights?

Material and Colour Selection

This can be done a number of ways

Meet you at suppliers and go through options based on budget and requirements usually laminate due to its affordable price, durability and large colour range.
Via catalogue/ supplier’s website.
You have already chosen, and I can obtain the equivalent through my supplier.

I use the following checklist

Benchtop selection – laminate, stone either natural or engineered, stainless steel which is more suited for commercial applications or natural timber.
Cupboard doors – usually laminate but there are a variety of finishes and colours depending on the look you are looking. Natural timber is also an option.
Kicks – the standard is brushed stainless steel, but you may wish to colour match them with your cabinets. Unlike other builders, I only use weatherproof plywood meaning if there is ever a leak you won’t have to pull your whole kitchen apart
Splashbacks- usually tiles but there are a number of options
